Lego Dimensions 71238 Doctor Who - 2016

Lego Dimensions is a Lego-themed video game available for different gaming consoles.  It features a toy-to-life feature by the use of a USB pad where censors detect your minifigure and translates it as a character inside the game.   Very fun and cool in my opinion but I bought this pack primarily because of the minifigures - from the 60's, Doctor Who's Cyberman and Dalek.

This is the back of the packaging.  It shows three different modes for the Dalek.  Modes 2 and 3 enables Cyberman to ride the Dalek.  Very cool.

The instruction manual (for Cyberman only) and catalogue as well for other Lego Dimensions packs.  You can get the instructions for the Dalek inside the video game.  If you don't have the game you can just get the instructions on the internet.

Front image of Cyberman.  I think this is the 2013 redesign of Cyberman in the Doctor Who series.  Kinda looks like a creepy Ironman, but these guys are a race of emotionless, space-faring cyborgs with an appetite to destroy the Earth - according to Wikipedia of course.  I really like that unique head with that appropriate emotionless, metallic face.

Pew pew pew pew pewwww! Exterminate! Exterminate!  Do you find Cyberman and Dalek as cool minifigures?

Avengers: Endgame - Marvel Fans Speculations (April 2019)

Just a few more days before Avengers: Endgame hits the big screen.  Movie tickets are now being sold in advance, I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before it sold out.  A lot of speculations, from hardcore Marvel fans, about what will happen in Endgame has been going around the internet for some time now.  After Infinity War was released, the title of the next Avenger sequel was predicted by avid fans.  "We're in the Endgame now.", as stated by Dr. Strange after they lost the battle on Titan.  This phrase immediately got picked up by fans and they speculated that Endgame was going to be the title of the next sequel.  And indeed it was.

Now after the two trailers for Endgame came out,  a lot of fans started talking on forums and blogs on what they think is going to happen in Endgame.  These are not spoilers but speculations and rumours, meaning they are not confirmed to be true nor are they leaked part of the script of Endgame.  These are just intelligent guesses that could either be right or wrong.  Nevertheless, if you want to retain the mystery of Endgame you can stop reading right now but if you want to know what fans think will happen in Endgame just read on.

The following are what I found on the net:
  1. The Marvel logo opening scene might still feature the Stan Lee tribute, same one we first saw on Captain Marvel.
  2. Stan Lee might still have a cameo in Endgame.
  3. Pepper Potts might be the one who rescues Tony in space.  In the first trailer we see Tony recording a farewell diary in his Iron Man helmet.  Speculations arised that these recordings were being received by Potts on Earth and that she wore an Iron Man suit and brought another suit for Tony to rescue him.  Now this is only possible assuming that Potts didn't turn to ashes in the Snappening.
  4. That the Avengers will be going to the Quantum Realm to travel back in time.  In the 2nd trailer we see the Avengers marching in a new uniform suit.  A lot has speculated that the Quantum realm device in Antman's van might have been modified by Stark and that the white suits they wore are for traveling in the Quantum Realm.
  5. That this time Thor will aim for Thanos' head.
  6. That the Flerken, Captain Marvel's cat, will devour Thanos' body - lol.
  7. That all Marvel heroes turned to ashes will be revived.  Yup, including Gamora.
  8. And last but not the least, that one Avenger will truly die for good.  Votes are for Tony and Capt., but who knows. MCU is always full of surprises.
Can't wait to see this and subsequently for the Lego sets and minifigures that will come out based on this movie.  I'm gonna see which of these speculations are right just for the fun of it.  And of course will abide by the spoiler silence request by the Russo Bros.  Let me know what you think guys.  Peace out.

Lego Technic Catalogue from 1988

The Lego Technic 1988 Catalogue.  As a kid I really love the catalogues that Lego made.  Maybe because of the colors of the bricks that when put together makes it so pleasing to the eyes of a kid, or perhaps how they make the Legos seem to imitate still life which fires up our imagination, or simply because the minifigures look so adorable with their mini tools and vehicles and their happy facial expressions.

It's really hard not to crack a smile when you're building or playing with a Lego set, but not until you step on one. Lols.

There's the Test Car and the old yellow robot that turns into a truck and some Technic racing cars.  Very cool.

The sea plane with the technic figure, the pneumatic excavator, crop sprayer truck and Lego Polar set.

Some supplementary parts.  I have that 8890 Lego Technic Ideas book.  Might post some pictures of it soon.  Do you like Lego catalogues too?  Which Lego theme do you like best?

Lego Speed Champions 75877 Mercedes-AMG GT3 - 2017

Here it comes.  Right across the finish line.  Lego Speed Champions 75877 Mercedes-AMG GT3 from 2017.  This set is an official licensed product of Mercedes Benz.  Streaming across the race track is the Mercedes-AMG GT3 metallic gray with bright yellow stripes, rims and tail wing.

This also features the road variant of the GT3.  It's kinda like buying two cars for the price of one.  So how do we do that?

Like this.  The face of the GT3 is switchable.  All you have to do is pull it then replace it with your choice.  The tail wing can also be removed and replaced with a tile piece for the road variant.

Racing mode variant.

Road variant without the tail wing.

Racing GT3 close look at the tail wing.

Top view of the AMG racing GT3.

And his road variant brother.

Side view of racing version.

Side view of the road version.

The trans-red 1x2 tile is placed obliquely to give the tail lights that curved feel.

The tile is held in place by one peg then the other end is pushed inside to make it seemingly curved.

You may have noticed something different with the tires....

Yup I didn't push them all the way in.  I like it that way.  It gives the car more width, a little realism and it looks cooler in my opinion.

Here's how it looks like from the bottom.  Rear tires are more slightly set wider than the front.

Let's not forget about the driver.  Pop the windshield cover and there he is.  Sitting in his racing cockpit.

Without his helmet.

No alternate face here. But that slick AMG racing suit....AWESOME.

Standing on the car.

 About to race.

 What's he doing there?

 Photobombing.

Driver cam view.
I liked both variants of the car.  Also the minifigure looks very good. I liked his AMG racing suit.  Black and yellow, Benz logo on the front and AMG on the back. Very nice indeed.  What do you think? Which variant of the GT3 do you prefer?

Lego Exoforce 7704 Sonic Phantom year released 2006

Sonic Phantom Lego Exoforce 7704 boasts this very awesome spaceship with light brick and projectile on the front.  Packs a lot of fun factor for playing kids.

The ship can be held like a toy gun with a kiddie grip and trigger which lights up the light brick and fires the projectile.  Can also be built into its variant called the Speeder Phantom which is more like a sci-fi motorcycle with heavy armaments.  More fun points for motorcycle fan kids.

Nope this is not Ody Mandrell's podracer from Star Wars.  But it really looks close though.  The front of the ship has two huge turbines which sandwiches the projectile in the middle.

On top of the projectile sits the light brick which lights up everytime you fire the projectile via a trigger located at the bottom of the Sonic Phantom.

The kiddie grip and the trigger at the bottom of Sonic Phantom makes it easy for kids to handle the ship when pretending its flight or when chasing enemy targets like those Duplo alien invaders from that recent movie I watched. Lols.

The green nub on top of the light brick presses the ON button when the trigger is pulled.

Some exhaust pipes on the side of the Sonic Phantom.  I kinda like this ship and the minifigure is very playable and customizable.  Share some thoughts about this set.
